Clear Image Creative was registered! We are up and running!
The project is about exploring not just the physical space but the mental space one can find oneself in when feeling misplaced and trapped. The feeling that life has lead you down a different path then the one you believe is right for you. When society and its expectations have gently guided you in a direction which has lead you to waking up one day and not knowing quite how you got there. Being fearful of change and where it might lead to if you fail. The project explores the eerie uneasiness of feeling trapped, feeling insecure about the future and unable to break free from your present situation. http://www.marionhansen.no/spaces
This project aims to portray the urban landscape through the detachment of the persons living there and giving the city a life of it´s own. http://www.marionhansen.no/urbanity

I was born in Norway in 1976, but grew up in the US, Paris and London.
From 1992 till 1996 I enrolled in various photography courses and later worked for a short period of time as an assistant to a photographer in Paris.
I then changed the course of my career and enrolled at university in London to study law. After finishing my undergraduate, masters and law school in London, I worked for various larger law firms in the city of London for 8 years.
In 2009 I decided to move back to Norway in order to start fresh. I set up a company, Clear Image Creative Marion Hansen, and started work as a photographer.
As photography had gone digital during the years when I had been working in London, I decided to enroll at Bilder Nordic School of Photography, where I finished a 1 year course.
The majority of my clients consists of companies who hire me to photograph their products and employees for use in advertisement. In addition, I also photograph weddings and other special occasions.
In my spare time my photography changes direction. My projects are a combination of fine art, conceptual and staged photography. I find inspiration in everyday life, film and other photographers.
The body of photography I am currently working on tries to capture people in situations which express an eery sense of contemplation. I aim to give the pictures a feeling of unnoticed but close up scrutiny of the private moments we all have.
